Kiwi Vine (Actinidia kolomikta)

A gorgeous addition to any garden, the variegated Kiwi is a deciduous vine with new foliage that starts out purple and develops into large, 12cm pink, green and white leaves at maturity. This colorful show creates a backdrop for fragrant, white flowers which are followed by delicious edible small kiwi fruits in the fall on 7m vines. Actinidia kolomikta is fully hardy but can be caught by late spring frosts, kiwi vines grow well in sun or part shade in average soil.

Sow seeds in the spring after a stratification period of two weeks in 0 °C to (-10 °C), after stratification germinate seeds at 13-18 °C.
